Southern Cross Nagle Apartments offers an enhanced lifestyle for older persons in a relaxed community environment.

We are located less within 300m level walk of the Sutherland shopping centre, and close to the railway station.

Bus stops are located on Flora Street.

The residential care service offers 40 low-care apartments.

• Each apartment is provided with fans, heaters, telephone & television points
• All community areas are fully air-conditioned
• Staff are on duty at all times to provide care and assistance to residents
• Access to a range of medical & paramedical services eg visiting Doctors, physiotherapy & podiatry
• The range of in-house activities includes exercise programs, fashion parades, barbecues, bus trips & outings, mini-golf, bingo & Happy Hour - all are supported by a Lifestyle Coordinator
• Christian worship services are held in the Prayer Room on a weekly basis

Our ongoing fees are set by the Commonwealth Government at 85% of the Age Pension.

Where a resident has non-pension income in excess of the Government threshold the resident is also required to contribute 25% of that additional income.

There aren't any pre-determined, fixed entry contributions (accommodation bonds).

Every prospective resident is considered individually and arrangements determined that reflect his/her own personal circumstances. Those without means are not required to make a contribution.

It must be emphasised however that where a resident does pay us a contribution the maximum amount retained by us is limited by Government regulation.
